Terms and Conditions

By purchasing a course from Young Language Learners you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

Please make sure your child understands the class discipline rules!

General Information:

  • Classes will be conducted using Zoom and resources will be shared using Google Classroom. Instructions on joining both will be sent upon booking. 
  • To participate you will need a computer/tablet with a webcam and functioning sound system and a working wi-fi connection. 
  • The children will be interacting with each other and it’s preferable for cameras to be on.  

Booking Conditions & Refund Policy

  • Students who start a course but do not complete it are not eligible for a refund once 2 or more lessons are completed.
  • No refund for no shows or skipping a lesson. 
  • Fees are non-transferable.
  • I reserve the right to cancel the course if it becomes impracticable. In such cases refunds will be made for any outstanding lessons.

GDPR Compliance

  • Booking entails the collection and storage of the given email addresses and contact numbers in my Google Drive for the purposes of communicating details about the class and also for payment. If choosing to pay with PayPal your email address will also be stored there. No marketing about anything other than Young Language Learners classes will happen. 

Class Discipline Rules

In order for classes to run as smoothly as possible:

  • No bullying or teasing any other student. 
  • No talking over the teacher or messing while the class is in progress. If you want to ask a question you can raise your hand or use the chat provided and I will reply when appropriate.
  • No taking photos or videos in class at all. 
  • Please arrive for class on time. 
  • No spamming the chat with anything that is not related to what is being discussed in class
  • Students may not share Zoom class codes or activity codes with any other person
  • I reserve the right to ask a parent to remove a child who continues to disrupt class by the methods above or any other method I deem disruptive to the fair opportunity for other students to learn
